Two Great Events! One day!
Join us Saturday, February 16th from 10am - Noon for a Syrah Seminar featuring 6 of Santa Barbara’s top Syrah producers Christian Garvin - Craig Jaffurs - Doug Margerum - Martin Brown - Dave Potter - Bruce McGuire. You will have the chance to sip through and learn about the Syrah grapes that grow in the many microclimates of Santa Barbara County. Each of the five winemakers will share with you one of their finest Syrahs and the inspiration behind it. Wine writer Gabe Saglie will moderate the seminar and guide you through each of these amazing wines.
After the seminar join us for the Grand Tasting from 5:30pm – 9pm. All 17 of the winemakers in the Urban Wine Trail will host you for an evening of world class Syrahs and other delicious varietals from Santa Barbara County. The evening will be an elegant night of Art, Wine, Food and Music with a chance to purchase limited and hard to find wines. Displayed throughout the venue there will be 17 pieces of art produced by local artists and inspired by each of the Urban Wine Trail Wineries. A live auction to raise money for the Art Fund of Santa Barbara will be held featuring five unique items that will tempt your imagination.
